Worship Ministry 

New Holland Baptist Church is a fellowship that is focused on giving honor and exaltation to God with wholehearted, spirit-filled, sincere worship. We are a congregation of blended worship singing today's newest worship music in a blend with the tried and true hymns of our faith.  

Opportunities abound to praise God through music. We have choirs and groups for children, youth, adults, and instrumentalists. Our worship is led by an able worship team and lively, enthusiastic praise band. We strive to honor God in all we undertake!

Choir

Beyond the singing of the congregation, this is our primary worship group at NHBC.  Our repertoire includes everything from sacred standards, formal anthems, Southern Gospel, Contemporary Christian, worship hymns, and choruses.  Our "sound" is strong, energetic, and joyful in order to inspire believers to deeper devotion and to encourage the lost to enter into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ!

The choir is comprised of a faithful and devoted group of singers who count it as a privilege to sing for God's glory. Participation is open to anyone from their teen years upward with no formal audition required.  Rehearsals are on Wednesdays from 7:30 - 8:45p.m. in the auditorium.  There are many opportunities for musical growth as we utilize a talented group of soloists, duets, trios, and quartets.

By the way, choir is a great deal of fun and a wonderful opportunity to fellowship with other believers who love music.

Band 

Our BAND consists of several highly skilled instrumentalists, rhythm players, and piano. We meet for rehearsal each Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in the sanctuary along with the choir. The band accompanies worship each week and plays for special events and services. They are also known to be one of the most fun groups of folks around! All volunteers, these folks play out of a love for God and the music that honors Him!

Handbell Choir

New Holland Baptist Church Handbell Choir has rehearsal every other Sunday afternoon from 2:00-3:00 pm. The handbell choir adds a beautiful sound to our worship ministry. We ring worship hymns that the choir and congregation can sing along with. The handbells are used for special events and services during the year. 

All of our ringers are volunteers.  No special skills or experience are needed. Everyone is welcome to join the handbell choir as a regular ringer or as a substitute. We are a fun and lively group of fellow believers in Christ who enjoy making music to praise and honor God!
